Three silos, zero connection
Sports, finance and the committee each run their own records. Nothing connects. The gaps show up at the worst moments — who paid, who confirmed, what was approved.
Avial did not start as a startup idea. It started with years of experience inside community sport — growing clubs, battling spreadsheets, chasing payments and watching capable volunteers burn out because the tools were never good enough.
A world where every grassroots club — regardless of size or resources — has the tools to run well.
To help clubs spend less time on admin and more time on sport, community and the things that matter.
Most clubs are not struggling because their people are bad at their jobs. They are struggling because their operations are fragmented — and fragmentation makes everything harder.
Sports, finance and the committee each run their own records. Nothing connects. The gaps show up at the worst moments — who paid, who confirmed, what was approved.
Memberships in a spreadsheet. Payments in an inbox. Availability on WhatsApp. When data lives everywhere, nobody has the full picture — and decisions get made on incomplete information.
No single source of truth means budgets get estimated, cash flow problems surface late, and the committee is always the last to know. That is not governance — it is fire-fighting.
In multi-sport clubs, the fragmentation is even more acute.
Each section runs its own tools, its own records, its own processes. The committee is always last to know. A unified view of the whole club — financial, operational, membership — simply does not exist. Avial is built to change that.
Every feature in Avial is shaped around the real, everyday tasks of club administrators, captains, treasurers and committee members. Availability, selections, payments, membership records, communications — all unified in one place, designed to be used by volunteers, not IT professionals.
Avial gives club admins the tools to see where money is coming in, where it is going out, and where the patterns are drifting. Identifying overspending and underspending. Catching cash flow issues early. Giving the management committee the financial visibility they need to govern with confidence.
A platform that only admins can use is only half a solution. Avial is built to make the member experience — availability, payments, events, communications — clean, simple and mobile-first. Because when members engage easily, the admin burden reduces too.
Avial is not being built to achieve impressive download numbers. It is being built to solve real problems for real clubs. That means making commitments that go beyond features.
We will focus on solving genuine issues rather than chasing scale or adoption metrics. The clubs we serve will shape what we build — not the other way around.
We build from conversations with real clubs. Every major feature decision is grounded in what club admins and members actually need — not what looks good on a roadmap.
We ship quickly, listen carefully and update based on what clubs tell us. When the market moves or feedback comes in, we move with it. No 12-month release cycles.
We will not sacrifice quality of solution for quantity of users. We would rather solve genuine operational problems deeply for fewer clubs than offer a shallow product to many.
Good governance is not a feature add-on. It is built into how Avial works — so committees, treasurers and section heads always have the information they need, when they need it.
We are looking for clubs who want to help shape a practical, end-to-end operating platform for grassroots sport. Your real-world experience will directly influence what we build next.
